Multiplayer Games
Tic Tac Toggle
# of Players: 2
Difficulty: MEDIUM
Objective: Be the first player to land 3 rings of any point value anywhere on the board (without being "toggled")
Gameplay: Players alternate throws. If more than one toggle ring lands on a hook, only the outermost ring counts. (So if your ring lands on a hook already occupied by an opponent’s ring, you “toggle” that hook to your color and your ring is counted rather than your opponent’s! On the other hand, if your ring lands on a hook occupied by your own color, there is no change - because only the outermost ring counts.)
Ending the Game: The winner is the first player to land 3 rings on the board (counting only the outermost ring on each hook). Both players should have an equal number of turns, so if the starting player wins on a particular toss, the second player gets one more turn. (In that scenario, if the second player also reaches 3 rings on their throw, the game ends in a tie.) If neither player has won after all 12 rings have been thrown, it’s a “cat’s game.”
For an easier variation (BEGINNER difficulty) of this game: If neither player has won after all 12 rings have been thrown, collect any rings from the floor and continue playing until a player lands 3 rings on the board.
Around the World and to the Moon
# of Players: 2
Difficulty: MEDIUM
Objective: Be the first player to score a 50, 30, and 10 (in any order), and then land a ring on the “moon.” (The “moon” is the hook at the top of the board in the 12 o’clock position...when hooked, the ring circles the Toggle Toss logo).
Gameplay: Players alternate turns (each turn consists of 3 throws). All landed rings count, including multiple rings on the same hook. Once a player has scored a 50, 30, and 10 (in any order), the “moon” is activated for that player and they can win the game by landing a ring on that hook. Note: if a ring lands on the “moon” before a player has scored a 50, 30, and 10, it simply counts as a normal 10.
Ending the Game: Each player should have an equal number of throws, so if the starting player wins on a particular throw, the other player gets to throw as many rings as the starting player. (For example, if the starting player wins on their second throw of a given turn, the other player gets two more throws.) If neither player has won after all 12 rings have been thrown, retrieve all rings (from the board and the floor) and keep playing - picking up the game from where it left off (use paper if needed to track your progress). Continue the game until there is a winner.
140
# of Players: 2
Difficulty: MEDIUM
Objective: Score exactly 140 points before your opponent does
Gameplay: Players alternate turns (each turn consists of 3 throws). All rings count, including multiple rings on the same hook. Players keep track of their cumulative score as they go. If a throw causes a player’s score to go higher than 140, the player must subtract that throw’s points from their previous total and keep playing. (For example, if a player with 130 points scores a 30. This puts them above 140, so they must subtract 30 points from their previous total. Their new score is: 130 - 30 = 100.)
Ending the Game: Each player should have an equal number of throws, so if the starting player wins on a particular throw, the other player gets to throw as many rings as the starting player. (For example, if the starting player wins on their second throw of a given turn, the other player gets two more throws.) If neither player has won after all 12 rings have been thrown, retrieve all rings (from the board and the floor) and keep playing - picking the game up from where it left off - until a player scores 140 points.
Single Player Games
Toggle Toss Solitaire
"Toggle Toss Solitaire" is a one-player version of the standard Toggle Toss game that's great for practicing your skills and improving your game.
# of Players: 1
Difficulty: MEDIUM
Objective: Score as many points as possible with 12 rings (see Scoring below)
Gameplay: Throw the rings in this order: 3 red, 6 blue, 3 red. After throwing all 12 rings, add up your points.
Scoring: For multiple rings of the same color on a hook, only the outermost toggle ring receives points. For example, two blue rings on the 50 hook would score only 50 points total.
A ring that toggles a hook from one color to the other color scores double points, and the opposite-color ring underneath still counts! For example, a blue ring on top of a red ring on the 50 hook would score 150 points total (50 points for the red ring on the bottom plus 100 points for the blue ring on top.)
If a hook is toggled twice, both the first toggle and the second toggle score double points! For example, a red ring on top of a blue ring on top of a red ring on the 50 hook would score 250 points total (50 points for the red ring on the bottom plus 100 points for the blue ring in the middle plus 100 points for the red ring on top!) If you are an ADVANCED player, you might be able to pull that off!

Inside Out
"Inside Out" is a great game for practicing your accuracy across the board.
# of Players: 1
Difficulty: ADVANCED
Objective: Score a 50, 30, 10 - in that order - with 12 rings or less
Gameplay: Throw the 12 rings in any order (ring color does not matter). A ring that lands on a hook out-of-order does not count (but must be left on the board during the rest of the game). The game ends when you score a 50, 30, and 10 (victory), or when you run out of rings (defeat). Toggle Toss Pros should be able to win this game more often than not.
For an easier variation (MEDIUM difficulty) of this game: Score a 50, 30, and 10 - in any order - before running out of rings.
Double or Nothing
"Double or Nothing" is a great way to practice your “toggling” skill.
# of Players: 1
Difficulty: MEDIUM
Objective: Score as many “doubles” as you can with 12 rings. (A “double” is a hook with 2 toggle rings on it.)
Gameplay: Throw the 12 rings in any order (ring color does not matter). After all 12 rings have been thrown, count the number of “doubles” you landed (10/30/50 hook values do not matter). Note: if you land more than 2 rings on a single hook, it only counts as one “double.”
